IOP

We all have been through times when life gets overwhelming. But, for recovering addicts it can be a totally devastating experience. IOPs are designed to be just a little bit more helpful.

The typical intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers continued therapeutic intervention and the benefit of peer encouragement. The IOP model fosters self-reflection and accountability within the context of a supportive and loving community. It is recommended that graduates of rehab programs who transition into sober living facilities, enhance the recovery process by taking part in IOP.

Addiction specialists strongly recommend that their clients attend IOP. A professionally-facilitated IOP provides a secure platform where recovery goals can be met. Less restrictive than rehabilitation programs, IOP fosters personal growth and autonomy. To take part in IOP, it is extremely beneficial for the client to live in a sober facility or sober environment.
